Lauré is a fully registered clinical psychologist who completed her training in South Africa. She has been practicing since 2018 across a range of settings, including private practice, psychiatric facilities, correctional services, and hospitals. Through this work, Lauré has had the opportunity to support individuals and groups who present with a wide variety of treatment needs (such as adjustment issues, trauma, stress, anxiety, depression, health challenges, life transitions, etc).
Within Advance, Lauré shares a deep appreciation and understanding for the difficulties that we face as human beings, including the intersection of our physical and mental health. She aims to provide a supportive space where patients feel comfortable to explore their experiences while developing useful psychological skills and moving toward meaningful change. Lauré takes a person-centred approach to her practice and applies evidence-based treatment modalities (such as CBT and ACT).
She is fluent in Afrikaans. Outside of her professional work, Lauré enjoys spending time outdoors, and making new memories with her friends and family.
