Della is a registered psychologist who completed her Master of Clinical Psychology training at RMIT University. She works in a collaborative and respectful way, supporting clients to better understand their experiences and make progress towards goals that are meaningful to them. She aims to provide a safe and non-judgemental space where clients feel heard, supported, and able to move at a pace that feels manageable.
Della has experience working with adolescents and adults across a range of mental health presentations, including trauma, anxiety, depression, interpersonal difficulties, carer stress, substance use concerns, and adjustment-related challenges. She also has experience supporting clients who are adjusting to chronic health conditions, as well as carers supporting family members with ongoing health needs. She has experience working with clients with neurodivergent profiles, LGBTQIA+ communities, and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
Della commenced working at Advance in 2026. Her clinical interests include chronic pain and the psychological impact of long-term stress, adjustment, and role changes on individuals and families. Her work is grounded in evidence-based practice and draws primarily on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), trauma-informed approaches, DBT-informed strategies, schema-informed work, and motivational interviewing. She values clear communication, shared goal-setting, and practical strategies that can be applied beyond sessions.
