Chris is a registered psychologist who completed a Master of Clinical Psychology and Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at Griffith University. He has experience working with adults across university counselling, private healthcare and the alcohol and other drug sector, as well as conducting cognitive and neurodevelopmental assessments with children.
Chris has a particular interest in chronic pain, anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, stress, sleep and supporting people to return to meaningful activity and employment. He draws on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing and client-centred approaches. Chris aims to provide practical, collaborative and evidence-based care tailored to each person’s circumstances and goals.
Before becoming a psychologist, Chris worked as a boilermaker/welder across the power, construction and oil and gas industries. Outside of work, he enjoys gaming, playing guitar poorly and cooking.
