Thomas is a registered psychologist with experience in assessment and tailored intervention for clients from diverse backgrounds. Thomas also provides individual and group-based intervention for a wide range of presentations such as (but not limited to) anxiety, depression, trauma, anger management, communication skills, emotional dysregulation, phobias, and substance abuse. Additionally, Thomas has previously delivered vocational counselling and support services for clients with physical and mental concerns in relation to their workplace environments. Moreover, Thomas has experience in providing mental health support services to clients in Vietnamese.
Thomas is passionate about working from a person-centred approach as he incorporates various evidence-based treatment modalities into his practice to support clients towards achieving their therapeutic goals. These include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Solution Focused Therapy.
