Samuel Wang is a generally registered psychologist with experience supporting adults across a range of mental health and adjustment-related concerns. His clinical interests include anxiety, depression, stress, emotional regulation, interpersonal difficulties, low self-esteem, and life transitions.

Samuel works from a collaborative, respectful, and client-centred approach. He aims to provide a safe therapeutic space where clients feel understood and supported while developing practical strategies for meaningful change. His practice is informed by evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioural therapy, psychoeducation, formulation-driven intervention, and skills-based strategies.

Samuel also has a research interest in trauma-informed practice, particularly in understanding how trauma, attachment, emotional safety, and lived experience can inform psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention. He has published research in this area and is interested in applying trauma-informed principles to provide care that is sensitive, empowering, and responsive to each client’s needs.

Samuel is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese and can provide psychological services in both languages.
