Priya is an anaesthetist and pain specialist who completed her primary medical qualification and anaesthetic training in India.  She has held various positions in anaesthesia and Intensive Care Units at several prestigious institutions, gaining extensive knowledge in administering cardiac, paediatric, and neuro anaesthesia.

Priya relocated to Australia in 2019 and achieved the Fellowship of the Faculty of Pain Medicine Australia and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists.  She has trained at pain clinics in Hobart and on the Gold Coast, managing a wide range of acute and chronic pain patients.  

Priya has a special interest in pelvic and interventional pain management and favours an empathetic, compassionate, and holistic approach to patient care.  She is committed to improving healthcare access for underserved populations globally.
