Adrian is a registered psychologist and completed a Doctorate in Health Psychology in 2016. He has been working with Advance Healthcare since 2020. Adrian has an interest in helping patients with chronic health conditions, such as pain, improve their wellbeing and treating anxiety, depression and other mental health issues that patients experience. He uses an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach to working with patients, and also provides a friendly and considerate space to help them explore their issues and achieve their goals. Adrian’s other interests as a psychologist include sleep, motivation, anger management and men’s health.
Adrian has previous experience as a pain management psychologist in both private practice and public health, as a counsellor in community health and has also worked as a group facilitator in Men’s Behaviour Change Programs.
