Devy successfully completed her Master of Physiotherapy Practice from La Trobe University in 2021. She has had overseas experience before her master’s and gained experience in the musculoskeletal and neurological domains of physiotherapy by working in a large private practice setting. Additionally, she has been the team physiotherapist for the Race Across America, four times till date.
Devy is keenly interested in the highly complex nature of pain and always goes an extra mile for her patients; empowering them to manage their conditions effectively. Wholistic care and optimal patient outcomes have always been a top priority in her rehabilitation planning.
Devy can effectively communicate with a broader range of patients owing to her fluency in Marathi and Hindi. She is a firm believer of working in a client-centered manner with a team of multidisciplinary professionals to help them achieve their goals and live a fuller, richer life.
During her leisure time, Devy loves exploring the trails around, taking her very young puppy for a walk/run, reading crime and mystery thrillers and has recently taken up knitting as a hobby. A foodie through and through, she enjoys exploring new cuisines and hunting for new brunch spots. She has been successfully convinced to go for Collingwood by her very sweet elderly patient and she loves it!
