Dejan graduated in 2019 with a Master of Physiotherapy from Flinders University following the completion of a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science from Deakin University. He has had various experience in acute orthopaedic, cardiac, pulmonary and brain injury rehabilitation as well as geriatric evaluation and management within hospital settings. He also has experience in sports injury management and prevention whilst working as a Sports Trainer at local football clubs.
Dejan joined Advance Healthcare in 2019 and has continued to develop his skills within a private practice setting whilst working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. He shares a keen interest in patient-centred holistic injury management towards established long-term goals and believes active rehabilitation and education is vital for the best recovery. In addition to chronic pain management, Dejan has a passion for optimising athletic performance through movement pattern correction, skill development, and aerobic/anaerobic conditioning.
Outside of the clinic, Dejan enjoys the beach, gym, social tennis and travelling. He also speaks Serbian.
